Case Study: Mr Foggs Society of Exploration
A Frame designed and manufactured a giant mechanical spinning globe for the entrance. Inspired by the industrial revolution and its engineering inventions, the globe is a fully working marvel! We also created a ball run in which customers order numbers are placed and they follow the ball as it takes them down to the bar.
The existing bar was decorated, and we hand painted light box signs to the back bar. We specified Victorian inspired finishes such as parquet and chequered flooring, timber wall panelling and salvaged antique light fittings.
To give a true theatrical experience we designed and manufactured a life-sized Victorian train carriage, dressed with buttoned seating, patterned carpet, blinds and luggage racks. We also designed and hand painted the exterior signs.
Classic buttoned seating, wall panelling and glazed partitioning were used to give a premium and authentic Victorian finish.
The map room is a cosy drinking spot full of curiosities such as vintage maps, clocks and compasses from Mr Fogg’s worldly travels
The experience doesn’t stop at the toilets. We gave them an opulent and exotic feel, using elegant details, pretty wallpaper and decorative fittings.
