Karaoke Rooms, Cocktail Bar and Late-night Party Venue

Lucky Voice asked us to design an exciting new concept for their latest venue in the city. The brand wanted to create a venue that not only attracted karaoke go-ers, but those who also wanted to go for cocktails, food and then dance into the early hours afterwards. We approached the project with a view to creating an overwhelming sense of fun and did so through bright colours, bags of unique features and an abundance of musical references; to embody the true spirit of Karaoke.

Case Study: Lucky Voice – Holborn

Entrance Feature

The listed frontage with recessed entrance meant that we had to think out of the box when it came to street appeal. We added illuminated interiors to the doors and a notable ceiling chandelier, creating curiosity and directing potential customers down the stairs.

Bar Area

The brief was to create a bar menu that became a real focal point and so we took reference points from music billboard listings to create our own menu chart.

Central Feature

Perspex boxes who’s contents represent different song titles, sits centrally in the bar area to create a strong focal point and a fun game to play!

Dance floor

Turning the usual ‘disco dance floor’ on its head, we re-purposed vintage TV and Audio equipment to form an exciting backdrop to the DJ booth.

VIP Karaoke Pod

A luxury yet quirky aesthetic was created for the VIP room, complete with plush velvet padding and a record shop feature wall.

We created yet more fun in the toilets by designing a huge wall graphic montage of female musicians. This sits adjacent to the disco loo!
