Case Study: Mahiki Manchester

Having been involved with the evolution of the Mahiki brand and interior over 10 years, we were given the challenge of taking Mahiki Manchester to a new level and creating an interior starkly different to Mahiki Dover Street but that fits with the original Polynesian style.

The bar was given a subtle polished look with large palm wallpaper, crushed velvet & animal print fabric and handmade ceramic jade tiles made in our Hackney workshop. All these elements along with your more traditional textures brings out a more sensual and tactile environment while your sipping on cocktails.

Club Area:
Just like the bar area, we wanted the club to have a lavish feel. We created this through the use of playful wooden screens, hibiscus bark cloth fabric and black velvet paintings, not forgetting the iconic fish float ceiling feature.
